    My profile is being signed out while playing games


    Basically, if I am playing a game, sometimes I just get signed out abruptly. It isn't saying that I was signed in elsewhere or anything, it treats it like I manually signed out on the console I'm playing on. Doesn't do this to every game I play, but some.

    Could be your ISP. I have the same issue when my ISP is having problems, random signing out if my profile for only seconds sometimes.

    Are you wirelessly connected or do you use an ethernet cable?

    sounds like a connection is bad or live is down.
    It's definitely possible, but in my experience, I'd usually get kicked off Live too.

    Check for updates and try a full shutdown.

    From the settings menu:

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.
    3. Under Options, select Full shutdown
