    My Profile changed..how do I change it back?


    I logged on to my profile from my friend's house, but instead of coming up as
    [Mod Removed]     with all of my info and achievements, it came up with a weird blank profile called mewkitty something or other. Has anybody else experianced this? How do I get my old profile back? How do I get rid of the new one?

    how do i change my dashboard background?

    If your X1 does not automatically update. Go to settings, system information. Click update.

    After this update your system will restart.

    When you view your achievements you will then be able to select 'set as background' which will use the graphic of that achievement as the background for your X1.

    You can also put a .jpg or .png on a thumb/USB drive and plug this into your X1. Then select the media player (preview version currently) and select the folder/file/image. Press I believe the start button, you will then see an option to set the picture as your background.

    when you Login with a different gamertag this indicates you are not using the same email

    as Long as your Profile is saved on hdd, you can check which email is the correct one

    -> Settings -> account -> 2 steps to right -> account security -> current Microsoft account

    Hello, if you are unable to login to the e-mail account that you need in order to be able to change your XBOX Live e-mail then you will need to contact the Windows's Live Team. They will be able to help you change the e-mail on the account as long as you
    can prove that you own the account and can confirm very key pieces of information on the account.

    To do this please go to this link here. Once at the link click "I forgot my password", then click "Reset Password", on that page type in your Windows Live ID and the
    cryptic code on the bottom of the page and click Next. On that next page you will see some options, click "Customer support", and then click the blue "Customer support" link. Type in your Windows Live ID that your unable to access now, and then in the
    second box type the e-mail you'd like to be contacted at.

    The Windows Live team will send you a form to fill out, and this is the important part, you need to fill this form out with as much information correctly that are listed on the account in order for you to have the best chance to get it back.

    Greetings, Hades12 son. If you have lost access to your email account and cannot change your Windows LIVE ID I would recommend getting in touch with phone support for your region. Providing you can prove account ownership they will be able to assist you
    further in updating your WLID.
