    My Prepaid Credit ... after change of region


    Hello,

    i formerly lived in Germany, then i moved to switzerland. I just changed my region from germany to switzerland for my xbox 360.

    Before the change of region i had 41 Euros on my account, but after the region change this credit was GONE. I just entered a code with SFr instead of EUR ... that is because i bought a code in SFr and couldnt use it, because it said i have to change my region.
    So i did.

    Now my credit is 50 SFr (according to the code i bought) but my 41 Euro from before are gone. I thought my credit will migrate with the change of region, but that apparently didnt happen.

    I am very angry about this. I want my 41 Euros back.

    Are Xbox One Games Region Locked?

    I constantly change region in order to get games that are only out in US and then play them in Australia now. All you need to do is buy a US prepaid MS store credit voucher online using paypal to convert currency, then change region to US and get whatever I want (usually cheaper too). Given Australia keeps getting censored games this means I get proper versions of things.

    Can you conform this is still the case?
    I want to change my region from Belgium to USA, becouse AAA games are ~20 cheaper there!
    And if the game is cross-play on win10 can I play it there?

    It warns you before you do the migration that currency does not migrate with your account. The 41 Euros are still on your account, but you would have to migrate your account back to be able to use them.

    Basically that means if i want my 41 Euros back i have to migrate back to Germany ... so i have to wait 3 months before i get em back and then i have to wait another 3 months before i eventually can change it back to switzerland. In other words i have to
    wait half a year for this?

    Is there really no other way to get them back? I dont even get why i should wait 3 months to migrate my account. There is no point.

    Slovakia still not integrated for PayPal payments!

    You can purchase online with a credit card or bank card with xbox live

    PayPal isn't supported in all regions I don't think the newly added regions support PayPal yet

    You don't pay more with prepaid cards unless you mean prepaid credit cards or dashboard deals in which case either credit card or wait till PayPal is supported in your region

    Hi there,

    Live subscriptions cannot be purchased with currency on an account. (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/prepaid-codes/types-of-prepaid-codes)

    You'll have to have a different payment option on your account for that (credit/debit card, paypal, etc.).

    If you have changed locations, you'll need to update your account to the new region. You can follow the steps here:

    Keep in mind currency from one region won't transfer over to a new region.
