Any Bold E3 Predictions?

That the Xbox slim is actually the Xbox Scorpio, and will go on sale a month from today! It will be oculus rift compatible and many AAA companies will offer a free upgrade to 60fps and ultra settings like the Witcher 3 games!

My rumors are based on Todd howard talking about the next elder scrolls cant work on current consoles because they arent powerful enough. My rumors come from paying attention to the console cycles, studying, playing, and understanding the technology. Hell even halo 5 had to make tons of weird sacrificies to run and that was almost a year ago (dynamic scaling). My predictions come from my own brain which you do have one right?

The bottom line is if we want a truly awesome console experience full of destructible enviornments we should demand exclusive games tbh. Who wouldnt want the future of games to move on to bigger and better things?

I mean this is supposed to be a nice thread... I asked u guys what are your personal predictions for the scorpio. And all i get is flak for basically having an opinion about the console. But its ok i punch back harder EVERY TIME.

Now i just cant wait until this fall when i sit back and play my bf1, forza horizon 3, and gears 4 on the ultimate gaming rig with full support of the xbox one controller on my big screen! Ill also flip inputs and see the difference like i did with battlefield 1 and the difference from a nice gaming rig and the current xbox one is striking! I win I WIN. When i do see the huge difference ill be laughing for sure

Your statements are not rumors. They aren't in widespread circulation, that's what rumors do.

Here's an example - "nintendo_always says that uglyduck doesn't know what a rumor is". Right now that's a prediction (my prediction, in case you weren't paying attention). But if a sizeable group of people catch wind of that prediction, and then agree that it holds water, and then spread it around saying "uglyduck doesn't know what a rumor is", well that statement has then gone from being just a prediction to being a rumor.

What's the point in buying an upgraded console that plays games for a 5 year old platform? Presumably there won't be games that only run on the Scorpio, please correct me if I'm wrong?! If VR, which doesn't interest me in the slightest, is only available
for the Scorpio then it would be the only reason, and not a very good one, to upgrade.

Because games will run better? For example imagine being able to play a game at 60fps at 4K, which essentially makes the graphics look much better. It will be like a next gen console but on the same gen. Whilst on the normal xbox one the game will only run
say at 980p at 30fps.

IF it runs in a similar way to the PS4 Neo, all games will work for the Xbox One and the Xbox Scorpio, the only difference will be when you play game X on the Xbox One it will run at 900p with some of the "bells and whistles" toned down or even turned off.

The same game one the Xbox Scorpio though will probably run at 4K 30ps (possibly 60fps) with all the bells and whistles set to "ultra".

Some developers have even said that making a game work like that isn't difficult, in fact they say that its still easier to develop for 2 specs on the Xbox One than it is to develop for the PC, which has virtually infinite amount of power levels.

Exactly. The consoles now are PC arc too. I think it will be preset by the developers based on what model console you have.

I can't see the new xbox running 4k at 60fps.

If I didn't have a PC right now I know I'd be one to upgrade my current xbox, instead (due to the corss platform announcement) I'll be using my money to upgrade my PC again so it'll outperform the new xbox next year.

I do like the look of the slim xbox though.

I agree that the whole PC/Xbox One announcement (most Xbox One games now also on PC) kind of annoyed me, but after calming down, I realised its not a bad thing.
