My pre order got cancelled

I got my preorder of xbox series x cancelled. i got a email saying that my preorder was cancelled on Nov. Friday 27 and i don't know, i want to know why?

If you pre-order via a credit or debit card you will not be charged straight way, you will be charged around 14 days before the release of the game.

If you where charged the best thing to do is Contact Support via Live Chat or over the phone

Technically, if the amount was put on hold (authorization hold) when you placed your preorder, it will reflect back to your account within a few business days depending on your bank's policy. You would need to reach out to your bank regarding how they process authorization holds. So since it didn't go through, Xbox didn't really get your money and it's on your bank all along.
