My power brick

*UPDATE* I'm not sure if it was because of the update or not but the root cause was my power brick. Either the update affected my power brick (which I don't know if it's even possible) or the power brick was faulty and just happened to
have issues during the update. I took it to Gamestop and they plugged up a different power brick and it booted up fine. The old power brick always stays orange. If you have this issue, check the power brick.

Directly connect it to a wall socket not a power bar

Power bars can sometimes cause brownouts limiting the powrr to your devices

Hello, the orange light means that the power brick is recieving power from the outlet. Have you tried unplugging the power supply from the xbox and power socket, then leave it unplugged for at least 10 seconds. Then plug everything firmly back in and turn
on the console. I hope this helps you out.

That sounds... odd. The power brick doesn't have an on/off switch and the console's "switch" is really just a power switch relay like a PCs, not an actual power on/off switch.

The power brick isn't user servicable, like most PC power supplies. I assume you've tried swapping power bricks with a working console to see if the problem is the brick or the console?
