My Pictures for my gamerpics are the reccomended size but when i change it says it's too small

I'd like a shoot of my entire avatar and wouldn't getting the picture from a gamerpic make it too small? And before the website update, I could just easily right click on my standing avatar that u see when go to your profile. And now that doesn't seem to
work and only shows 'Silverlight' when I right click it now.

It is possible to create an AVATAR gamerpic and set it as your current gamerpic. I just did it. You just cannot set an IMAGE gamerpic from this website, as in a gamerpic from a picture pack.

doesnt your personal picture and gamerpic pretty much the same thing? so when changing it shouldnt it also change too?

That's what I'm trying to figure out, why my personal picture doesn't change when I change my gamer picture. I read somewhere that your personal picture was visible to yourself and friends only and your gamer picture was what showed up to all others (obviously
if they are the same picture, everybody sees the same thing). My dilemma is that when I go to change my gamer picture, I have to then repeat it for my personal picture (right below the gamer picture option on your profile in dashboard). For most people, changing
your gamer picture automatically changes your personal picture, but not for me... and I'd like to know how to fix that.

Has anyone ever resolved this issue? I have the same problem. Sometimes, certain web sites or games will show the original "red skull" gamerpic set on my Live account back when it was created several years ago. I have changed my gamerpic several times since
then. None of my current computers, consoles, or other devices were ever used when that red skull was my gamerpic, but the Xbox forums, some Windows games (using Xbox Live account), and a few other sites (don't remember the others, ATM) still show this old
gamerpic. I have changed my account picture everywhere I could choose a new picture. Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, and similar services show my actual photo, while my Xbox gamerpic shows a saved gamerpic of my Avatar (Master Chief with a lightsaber). I can't
find this "red skull" gamerpic anywhere that I can change it, because any time I go to edit my Xbox Live profile or Microsoft Account picture, it shows my newer, correct pictures.

Does anyone have any ideas?
