Discus and support My Pc shutdown while downloading a game on game pass. in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I was downloading Forza Horizon 5 and it was on 90%.     My Pc shutdown while downloading a game on game pass.


    I was downloading Forza Horizon 5 and it was on 90%. My Pc just shutdown, now i cant continue the download neither can i start from scratch. I cant even find the files to delete it manually. It even takes 90 GB storage away from my HDD. Is there any solution for my issue?

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the procedure below.

    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.

    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.

    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.

    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

    - If that works, the download will probably pick up where it left off.

    While im not familiar with pc to xbox gamepass differnces this should work. My son and i have downloaded the same games before with my game pass and were able to play but it wasnt Sea of Thiefs
