    My parent's or guardian's account is not valid


    Good night, I have not been able to access xbox live for a while, and the message '' My parents' Microsoft account or account is not valid. You must choose a different account to manage your Xbox profile. "Then it appears to" Change the Microsoft parent
    account "or" Play offline ", I tried to change it, but it did not solve anything, I tried several times.

    Your parent's account isn't valid

    so I go to play my Black ops 2 game on my Xbox One when it doesn't sign me onto my Xbox live like usual. I go to sign in manually and it says that my parent's Microsoft account isn't valid and that they should choose a different account to manage mine. It
    still gives me the option to play offline but I have no clue why it won't let me use my Xbox Live. It's not happening anywhere else on my Xbox as far as I'm aware.

    Any suggestions?

    Parent's email doesn't work...

    I'm asking for help because i don't really know how to do... I have a account associated to a parent's one, and everytime i try to add a friend or something, i have to put the password of my parent's account... The problem is that i write it correctly, but
    it says that he can't connect to my LIVE account informations... I guess is because my parent's account is not Live or Hotmail... Should i change my parent's account? How could i do this?

    Account login problems on Xbox

    Well my problem is I’ve never needed a parent/guardian sign in (until recently for some reason), and if the DOB on the account can’t be changed, the Xbox considered my account a parent account when trying to get a parent/guardian sign in.

    When I do sign in using the same account on the parent/guardian screen it just puts me back to the password screen.

    Thanks for replying so quickly Darhyl! Unfortunately I can't log in at all. When I try, after entering my password, it come back to the screen that says this:

    Based on the information provided, a parent or guardian needs to help finish setting up this account.

    I’m a parent or guardian

    I’ll sign in with my Microsoft account and give consent.

    I’m not a parent or guardian

    I need to ask a parent or guardian for help.

    I click on the top one and it takes me through the process again, only to come back to this message again. It seems that somehow it isn't recognising me as the parent.

    There's a problem with that line of thinking though. Per the
    Microsoft Services agreement    :

    iii. Kids and Accounts. By using the Services, you represent that you have either reached the age of “majority” where you live or have valid parent or legal guardian consent to be bound by these Terms. If you do not know
    whether you have reached the age of majority where you live, or do not understand this section, please ask your parent or legal guardian for help and consent before you create a Microsoft account. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor who creates
    a Microsoft account, you and the minor accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and are responsible for all use of the Microsoft account or Services, including purchases, whether the minor’s account is now open or created later.

    (thats for privacy issues and legal they need permission from guardian or parent to speak with you)
