    My original Xbox won’t boot up


    I have an original Xbox and whenever I turn it on it plays the normal startup video with the goo and shows the old Xbox logo but then gets stuck showing that logo and I can’t do anything. Any advice on how to fix this?

    why do you not read any of the posts at all properly. your company needs to stop using the scraping tools to gather posts and actually load the post to see all responses, not even sure why Microsoft hires you all from a third party company, is it to make it look like they provide support.

    it is a first generation xbox NOT an Xbox One.

    @OP this is a clear sign of hdd failure, easy to repair but for some stupid reason i cannot tell you here as they frown upon self repair.

    The Eject button is on the front of the original Xbox One console right next to the disk drive, while the Bind button is on the left side, directly adjacent to the disk drive, with a symbol that looks like “)))” on it.

    The "original" Xbox is usually referred to the first generation of Xbox consoles. Is this the modell you're referring to @Hock100?

    Thank you for replying. Unfortunately these instructions do not work because my Xbox doesn’t have a bind button since the controllers are wired. Is there another way?
