My Original Xbox is not cooperating. I desperately need help.

I left two and half days ago for a trip and when i got back my xbox was "Turning on" but not connecting to the screen so i checked the hdmi but it was fine so i tried changing outlets but that didn't work so i switched tvs and that didn't work either so
i waited and the preparing console screen popped up so i waited some more and the error code it gave me was E105 so i looked it up and it said factory reset the console so i did that didn't fix it so i waited for it to pop up again and it said E102 so i looked
that up and it said to do an offline system update so after i went through that process with my flashdrive i finally put it in the console and it can't recognize that something is in the usb drive port (I have an external hard drive that's usually plugged
into the xbox and i did try that port) i've tried hard resetting both holding down the power button and unplugging but nothing is working and xbox support is completely ignoring me and my desperate attempts to contact them. Someone please help me. This has
been an ordeal since 12pm est. At the time of this post it is 6:17pm est.

I have done every restart and reset option there is. Hard reset, turning it off and on, unplugging the power, restarting it from the troubleshoot menu and both options for factory reset.

My external hardrive and my flashdrive are the same shape and size so my current problem is why can't my xbox recognize that? I have the OSU1 for the original xbox on the flashdrive. I'm not sure if the full System Error code is needed but i'll put it here
just in case it means something.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. When you said you factory reset the console, which version did you select? Reset and keep my games and apps, or reset and remove everything?

If you haven't removed everything, that would be the next option. As far as troubleshooting goes, we would only have the same steps you found for your error code. All of which can be found here : Troubleshoot

Also, the offline update option would only be greyed out if it does not recognize that you have a USB plugged in with the update. Since repair is no longer an option for the original Xbox ones, you may want to consider trying the offline update again a few
more times. Factory resets as well, since sometimes it gets going after the second or third time.

If you live nearby a Microsoft store, you should call it and see if they do offline updates for Xbox one consoles there. If they do, go ahead and set up an appointment. There would be no charge if that store offers that service.

I recommend that you make your console go into safe mode to be able to reset your factory console

To add more info, like a month or two ago i had to factory reset the console due to the green screen of doom or whatever. The xbox won't load the green screen right now and will only connect to the tv when it reaches the troubleshoot menu. The "Offline
System Update" option is greyed out and i can't use it.
