    "My Ori game isn't starting?! What now?! :(" - Try this.


    You bought Ori and it doesn't start? - Well, before you need to contact support, you might try these simple things; Ori can have some starting problems, escpecially if your XBO was running for a longer time and with different Apps, Games and so on.

    1) Restart your XBO - you can do it through the menu with "Restart" - no need to switch it completely off. This step works against the fact, that the game even didn't try to load.

    2) Try to start "Ori and the Blind Forest" - it is possible, that it drops you two or in very rare cases: even three times. Means it freezes and you hear a nasty sound (after the "Press Start Screen") - plus it drops you back to the XBO menu. Don't panic,
    and try to start it again. After two or three times it will run - and the game itself runs then realy smooth and solid.

    Ori and the blind forest: definitive editio is free?

    I'm looking for the owner if I'm not mistaken, I downloaded it via code, but on the page I get a discount for gold members, could that be? anyway if I buy it from me as a new game or overwrite the old one?

    I'm having an issue with Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition.

    Ori & The Blind Forest Definitive Edition gives you both versions of the game. That's why the standard version started downloading. You should have also got the Definitive Edition as well. I would suggest uninstalling the Standard Editon and the
    Definitive Edition tile if you can, then
    power cycle the console    , and try re-downloading the Definitive Edition again.
    I already tried that, it eliminated the tile for Ori and the Blind Forest default, but now from what I see the orange one just remains in "Ready to Install" and it isn't allowing me at all to download this version. the same loop is going on with an endless
    "Installing..." then stopping the installation and re-trying again.

    I guess, it doesn't need to be fixed, because it is not a bug - just some sort of glitch that hits just a few poor ppl.

    taikhoa, you talk now about Ori atBF, or Ori atBF - Definitive Edition? (Because it seems that there are still a few Problems with the original Ori atBF, not with the Definitive Edition).

    And: Do you tried to start it from you HDD, or from an External (USB) Device? (Because some ppl said, the problem might get fixed, if they use an external HDD).

    Also you should try to start the game a few times, in the most cases, Ori atBF (so not the Definite Edition) starts after a few tries.
