My Opinion about the Enforcement team. (note this is my Opinion about the enforcement team I.E ...

My Opinion? Can't thrust them, after getting hit with a Suspension I started to look into it, Via the code of conduct but before I post that (I'm sure we should know it by now)

I found this after my little... "punishment"

Thank you for your inquiry. This account was issued a suspension due to "offensive" content in the profile. Xbox Live is designed to be fun and safe for everyone, and when people choose harmful or offensive content for their profile it disrupts the Xbox
Live experience for other gamers. Even if the content wasn't intended to offend others, >>we must take into account how other players are likely to perceive it.<< We remove offending content to preserve the quality of our service, and to create a safe and
welcoming environment for all. Please be sure to review our Enforcement website, the Microsoft Services Agreement and Code of Conduct

*we must take into account how other players are likely to perceive it* ... what? in fact that sent that 11/26/2015 02:38:21 am, a few hours after the Punishment ended.

I find that Infinity funny because here's the Microsoft code of conduct.

    3. Code of Conduct.

    • a. By agreeing to these Terms, you’re agreeing that, when using the Services, you will follow these rules:
    • i. Don’t do anything illegal.
    • ii. Don’t engage in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens to harm children

      .
    • iii. Don’t send spam. Spam is unwanted or unsolicited bulk email, postings, contact requests, SMS (text messages), or instant messages.
    • iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate Content or material (involving, for example, nudity, ****, pornography, graphic violence, or criminal activity).
    • v. Don’t engage in activity that is false or misleading (e.g., asking for money under false pretenses, impersonating someone else, manipulating the Services to increase play count, or affect rankings, ratings, or comments).
    • vi. Don’t circumvent any restrictions on access to or availability of the Services.
    • vii. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, the Services, or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, communicating hate speech, or

      advocating violence against others).
    • viii. Don’t infringe upon the rights of others (e.g., unauthorized sharing of copyrighted music or other copyrighted material, resale or other distribution of Bing maps, or photographs).
    • ix. Don’t engage in activity that violates the privacy of others.
    • x. Don’t help others break these rules.

(link to Microsoft's over all code of conduct : Microsoft Services Agreement )
After reading said rules I still see I did no wrong But maybe Lets try the Xbox live beach's code of conduct maybe there I can find what i did wrong.

      • Don’t create, share, use, or promote prohibited Content.
      • Don’t engage in illegal activity. For example, don’t:
      • Threaten to physically hurt others
      • Spread lies about someone, a product, a business, or a group
      • Post a nude photo knowing the subject of the photo meant for it to be kept private
      • Extort or otherwise threaten action unless you get something you want
    • Don’t harm or harass. For example, don’t:
      • Engage in self-harm
      • Encourage violence against people or animals
      • Scream at, intimidate, or bully others
      • Violate another person’s privacy (e.g., share someone’s personal information like home address)
      • Fail to protect your account, devices, and personal information (e.g., lend your credentials, post your private information publicly, fail to supervise your devices)
    • Don’t harm Microsoft, Xbox Live, or another person’s device. For example, don’t:
    • Post links to malware
    • Interfere with another's ability to access their network or device
    • Interfere with Xbox Live
    • Don't cheat or tamper. For example, don't:
      • Use unauthorized hardware or software
      • Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches
      • Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements)
      • Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods
    • Don’t pirate or use another’s content without permission. For example, don’t:
      • Share content more broadly than you’re allowed to share
      • Use another’s intellectual property without permission (e.g., copyrights, trade secrets)
      • Play any illegitimately obtained software or pirated games
      • Play a game before it has been authorized for play on the service
    • Don’t engage in fraud or unauthorized transactions. For example, don’t:
      • Lend, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide third parties access to your accounts or Gamertags
      • Access or attempt to access accounts that you do not own
      • Purchase memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, or content from unauthorized parties
      • Attempt to use or share fraudulent methods for getting memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, content, or hardware
      • Use your account to trade services or in-game content for memberships, games, gift cards, account credit, or content
      • Resell or redistribute any part of Xbox Live
      • Impersonate another person (e.g., Microsoft staff, moderators, employees of game developers, publishers, or other Xbox partners)
    Don’t use Xbox Live for

    commercial purposes

    • . For example, don’t:
      • Create an account for a business entity
      • Advertise any product or service in Xbox Live
    • Don’t promote prohibited Conduct.
Also as a side note >>>

    • Create an account for a business entity
Get rid of the spam bots trying to get users to follow links to get free 48 hours Codes

But that was Conduct on Xbox live... HM.... lets try content.

    • Content involving illegality. For example:
      • Gambling, piracy, child pornography, obscenity, or criminal activity
      • Underage drinking, illegal drug use, or socially irresponsible behavior connected with drug use (e.g., drinking and driving)
      • Terrorism (e.g., bomb or other weapon making instructions)
      • Information that could help identity thieves (e.g., government-issued identification number)
    • Content that could harm or harass a person, including yourself, or an animal. For example:
      • Profane words or phrases
      • Suicide-related content
      • Negative speech (including hate speech or threats of harm) directed at people who belong to a group, including groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, language, gender, age, disability, veteran status, religion, or sexual orientation/expression
      • "Noise", which is excessive speech intended to interfere with or disrupt another person's or group's ability to enjoy a game or app on Xbox Live
      • Content showing or promoting animal abuse
    • Content that is controversial. For example:
      • Sexual, provocative, pornographic, or adult content
      • Violent content
      • Controversial religious content
      • Anything involving notorious people or organizations
      • Anything involving sensitive events, current or historical
    • Content that is unauthorized. For example:
      • Images and other content you don’t have permission to use
      • Illegitimately obtained videos
    • Content that promotes, or sounds or looks like words, phrases, puns, images or imagery that refer to any prohibited content

well noting there... So.. why did I do wrong in my profile really?

hm... oh wait look back at the code of Conduct for the over all Microsoft number i.v
Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share *inappropriate* Content or material

Inappropriate... Wait but they said I was banned because and I quote " This account was issued a suspension due to offensive content in the profile. Xbox Live is designed to be fun and safe for everyone, and when people choose harmful or offensive content
for their profile it disrupts the Xbox Live experience for other gamers Even if the content wasn't intended to offend others, we must take into account how other players are likely to perceive it. "

Sooo... did i get Suspended for someone feeling offended? Well that hard to say for two reasons.

Reason 1: Offensive and Inappropriate aren't the same by Definition

    Offensive :

: causing someone to feel hurt, angry, or upset : rude or insulting

    : very unpleasant

sports : of or relating to the way that players try to score against an opponent in a game or contest

    Inappropriate

not right or suited for some purpose or situation : not appropriate or suitable

Reason number two : After beating a user in a online game, No more 30mins later I was Suspended

And again when I asked for the reason why (before filling out a Case review) I was told I can't find out why because it's Privet with the enforcement team

even so I was hit with the Suspended and there for logically apart of the privet event,

So with that I came to the agreement that I was Suspended because Someone reported my profile after losing to me, on the fake grounds of me being Inappropriate, and because my profile looked Inappropriate, It IS Inappropriate

Even so my profile was a joke / Satire on employment quotas, something Illegal and what some people are trying to force others to do.

But seeing how I can play online and how everything is handled, I can no longer Trust how it happened because

My side was never asked for,

I was banned fast with no check in (knocking me off line via Signing into my name at the Enforcement area), after winning a match 30mins before hand,

it took the enforcement team the whole ban time and a few extra hours to come back and tell me that they are going to up hold the action.

The action was illogical anyway when you look at the COC on both Microsoft as a whole and xbox live.

I will still report people who brake the rules, but I well not expect much.

    :)

  2. What gives you the right

The Xbox enforcement team has all the right to take action on a valid complaint to your son. And as per the agreement with the ToC which you have agreed upon making an account or you sons account on Xbox live, the Enforcement team in entitled to not show
evidence of the complaint, rather the can act only and enforce the rules of the ToC and CoC. Good day My Opinion about the Enforcement team. (note this is my Opinion about the enforcement team I.E ... ;)

  3. Gamer picture, "Illegal use of drugs"?

So in other words, the rules aren't concrete and whether the player pic is approved requires simply the opinion of an enforcement team member? Dang. Ggwp MS.

Dont get me wrong I have reported people on live for using bad words to say the least and never got a message about actions taken against them but in my 12+ years on live I got 1 responce and that was for links sent thru emails. No cheaters, modders, hackers,
bad language and even threatened has been banned. Yey I got a ps4 and the 1st time someone broke the TOS from sony they sent 1 saying they received the complaint and 30 min later another message telling me thank you. MS needs to get off their butts and work
because sony is really making this company look stupid.

Gamerscore Removed & Gamertag Labeled Cheater

I've already contacted the Enforcement Team regarding this matter. As I mentioned I've come here to get opinions and feedback on how I can go about this to make the Enforcement Team understand that I've not cheated. And I'm really curious as to what Mr.
Foster meant over the phone when he mentioned the "Independent Advisor"?

Question about the policies of custom profile pictures.

Well, in my opinion as long as it's not offensive then it should be fine. But just a disclaimer, we don't have the right judgement here since it will always be the judgement of the Xbox Enforcement team.

Banned...2 days later full multiplayer ban!

If the enforcement team upheld their decision, there is nothing else that can be done. Investigations can take time, so the ban could be for something that took place weeks or months ago.
Thanks for the reply pal, it's just annoying as ****. In my opinion there's no reason I should of been banned, but there's no way to speak with this 'enforcement team'

    Info about Enforcement team?

It has nothing to do with revenge or whatever your talking about. Any part of microsoft who enforces rules on games that I paid for should have contact info so use your common sense and realize that paying customers should be able to have communication
with those who enforce rules. The same way citizens can communicate with police officers the same should be said for the enforcement team.
