My Online games won’t connect

Ive been online but I put go offline and then go online but that didn’t seem to work. Ima try to explain to you as best as possible. Ok so, I can play current gen and next gen games online but when I try to play Xbox 360 games online it won’t connect me.for example if I want to play an Xbox 360 game with my friends online it won’t connect me it will just say connecting for a while then it will say couldn’t connect. So then we will have to play another game that is not an Xbox 360 game.

What error message did you receive telling you that your permissions changed?

When resetting your Xbox make sure to hold down the power button on the console for a few seconds until it shuts down and then unplug the power cable for a few minutes to reset the power unit. At the same time, do basic troubleshooting on your router and
modem by unplugging those for about 5 mins. Once everything is up and running again see if your account auto signs in to Xbox Live if you have that set as your default on startup.

Then go to your Network Settings and select Test Multiplayer connection and then test your detailed network statistics to see if everything looks correct. Make sure the NAT type is open.

Is there an error when trying to connect to the game servers during launch or do you get an error message when trying to find a match?

Same thing is happening to me , our nat types are open and I’ve restarted my router twice. It won’t even let me play games online either , even though i’m connected to my internet

I have no idea if my friend has tried it but it’s not the game that’s being installed but an update, and it says I’m not connected, but every other online feature works. I’m mainly annoyed that my Xbox won’t sync, is it the cloud saved data or?

I was online as well but me and my friend chat wouldn’t connect so I restarted Xbox now it won’t connect to the live. ****. Now I’m getting error 0x87DD0006.
