My occasional rant*: Halo Infinite?

Since its inception back in 2001, Halo has easily secured itself a spot on the mantle of the most iconic franchises in gaming history. Its art style, loveable characters (Sgt Johnson I'm speaking to you buddy, RIP), soundtrack, multiplayer and overall
story has delivered one of the most charming and nostalgic experiences in console gaming. Unfortunately over time the series started to lose its charm especially since the release of Halo 4 and 5.

The series took a different direction and changed its art style, beloved soundtrack and basically every virtual aspect of the games core.

Halo: Infinite preaches to be a "spiritual reboot" of the franchise and with claims like that I'd say it has a large mantle of responsibility to take up. So to make a long story short here are a few things I would like to see added into Infinite upon release:

#1: The classic soundtrack.

When Marty Odonnel left halo to work on other franchises OST's there were some big shoes to fill. The majority of Halo's experience came from it's amazing soundtracks and since 343i took up the mantle, the soundtracks weren't bad but they just didn't live
up to what Marty established and it was a big drawback from the experience in 343s games. What I'd love to see in infinite is the entire (or atleast the majority) of the CE tracks compiled as the OST to truly deliver that "reboot" vibe.

#2: Classic covenant designs:

I'm not sure who these storm covenant goons are, but they are not the enemies that we all grew up loving to hate. Dont even get me started on the Grunts. "They are pale imitations of the Covenant I know, and are nothing more than children playing dress up."
seriously though... Classic Covenant for the win!

#3: An actual Heartfelt Halo campaign!

No not this rushed cinematics, rushed storytelling mumbo jumbo weve gotten lately. Halo needs to hit its roots deeply not just say it's going back to its roots by making some things look similar to their former selves. So far it does look promising but I'm
holding my fingers crossed behind my back 343.
