My nine yr old boy was suspended for be better at a game than an adult

Your son must've broken a rule. And that was before they ran into this dude as it takes way more than a few minutes to see action taken against you once a report has been filed.

I bought this game on Saturday. My 8 yr old and 11 yr old are LOVING it! If they don't have an interest in reading for challenges and the like, Freeform mode gives them unlimited money and no challenges. It just lets them go wild. You know your daughter
better than anyone, but for my money this is an incredible game for kids that love animals and love to create.

 

Yea, I find it extremely hard to believe he was banned within just a couple of minutes his encounter with that guy. It's more likely something that happened a few days before that.

Have you checked the email address associated with your son's account? MS should have sent an email saying why he was banned.

 

Ok! What I am saying is that when he beats someone in NBA 2K16 and he uses his mic some people get upset I have saw it numerous time he gets reported on a lot just for being a squeaker so to speak and the way in which Xbox reporting procedures are set up
needs to be tweak because if I get a room full of six people on call of duty and tell everyone to report one player on other team and we do this a couple of times that person can be suspended. Further more the email that enforcement sent is not discriptive
at all it is a generic email that everyone gets. I agree that it could not have been for that specific time in question however I asked exactly when this infraction took place and how the communication agreement was broken meaning what did he do and they just
said what I stated before "we have decided to up hold are decision"

 

That's not how it works.

An enforcement action is checked against multiple reports from users and cross checked with people on their friends list.

You son received multiple unique reports from unrelated gamers.

Have him serve his suspension and move on. And explain that if it happens again the suspension will be longer. After that, maybe permanent.

I know in your eyes he's perfection. Just like every child is in their parent's eyes.

 

Yeah it doesn't work like that at all, 1 report from someone doesn't get you insta banned.

I have 1 complaint in the last 6 months of cheating because some people were salty about losing and decided to report me even though I wasn't cheating and it didn't effect anything, I'm still perfectly in the green

 

I think your son is lying to you, log into his account and check things out. Your not doing him any good supporting this kind of crap.

 

Well for starters my son plays on the tv in front of me part of the deal we have since after all he is nine and there are some crazy people out there! So for you to assume that I would just start a random thread about my son is always right and Xbox is just
wrong for picking on my poor boy I say WOW! I am simply saying that he has been receiving negative reports against him because he is young as soon as people hear him and they get beat by him they get salty as one of you guys put it. The system is broken if
innocent people can eventually get suspended for playing better than others and by the way this was his second suspension first one was 24hrs this one was one week. The purpose of this thread is to say there need to be checks and balances on the way enforcement
suspends accounts so that the wrong people are not getting harmed. Also a way to communicate directly with enforcement employees would also be nice. But please don't say that I am only on the side of my child I really only want to help make Xbox and gaming
as a whole better be careful in the future how you respond to customers post as to not further exacerbate their situation

When he wins a game, does he turn on his mic and start trash-talking or send a message containing trash-talk? I under stand that NBA portrays a life style of trash-talking when you have owned a player with a dunk, or rejection. But on Xbox-Live its considered
harassment and violates the Term of Service.

I hear you but while he's playing it's very quite every now and again when he makes a good play he might say something like "for three " I mean I get it but I don't agree with it how often have you gotten owned in a game and the person who was owning you
talk a little junk. I personally have yet to see him talk smack after all remember I am seriously sitting right next to him when he games and he is only nine and I mean Disney channel nine not showtime nine.

 

I sit with my son while he plays. I don't leave for a second,but I've drilled it into his head to never send anyone a message. He's almost 9. He doesn't have a mic on anyway. For some reason my sons likes to play with no sound. No sound on any game which
is weird lol.
