my new xbox wireless headset keeps turning off

hey guys so i am having problems with the new xbox wireless headset it seems to turn off on me when i am not using it in a voice call like discord last night i played with a friend the headset stayed on but as soon as i stopped using vc after about 5 10 min it shuts off like i am not using it even tho i was streaming and talking the headset just keeps shutting off on me and i never had the problem when i first got it i hard reset the headset i took it off bluetooth i did everything i can google and nothing and yeah i updated it its up to date on firmware and such still problems can some one help pleas

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Go to console settings, general tab>network and internet settings>advanced options>alternative mac address>click clear. After that restart your console.

Solution 3:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

Select the option to keep your games and apps so they are not deleted.

Also just updated my pc in case and still no joy. Comes up in device manager as Xbox peripheral but says it’s all up to date. Having no joy and just want to use them

I just tried this, it doesn’t pick it up. It started charging when connected. If I hold the power button down it makes the on noise and then it flickers white, makes the pairing noise once, and once more quickly then turns off

Hello Pat, would you have a PC to connect your headset to the PC and see if the Xbox Accessories App recognizes the accessory and don`t turn off?
