My new xbox refuses to install any game

i just bought this "console" i have already connection to live then i try to install dead rising 2 and forza 5 and the progress stops at 43% until 3 hours to 44% what could that be??? (i should have bought ps4)

Game refuses to install.

a month or so ago i uninstalled BF4 to make room for some other games.

yesterday i tried to re install BF4 (after making enough room for it)

generally it reaches 44% and then just stops.

i Tried installing when not connected to the internet and power cycling the console. i've installed (or at least it tells me i have) all the DLC including premium (looked for them in the marketplace and installed each individually)

when online it says i need to install an update, so i select yes and it barely goes past 1% before stopping.

how can i get this game to install properly?

Game refuses to install.

i tried what you suggested. it reached 45% and stopped. after leaving it for an hour or so it had not changed. :/

Most likely your game is installing updates. DR3 has at least a 13GB update which it installs during your game installation on the hard drive. Also, the community doesn't care that you should have bought a PS4.

Also, if the game you own is a disc version, trying to uninstall the game, disconnect from the network, and reinstall the game.

The Xbox one is great, but you also have to do your job and do research to figure out how to work certain features. I also agree with CMU, we don't care that you should have bought a PS4

I have it installed, and it's available as installed on both microsoft store and xbox. The launcher refuses to install the game.

If you're trying to do a new install of the game then be sure to refuse the update first.

If you are trying to install from a disc then you can try disconnecting the console from the internet for the duration of the install.

Take the disc out install the game via the xbox app on your phone, then insert the disc to launch the game.

Same with my GTA5 disc, dunno if is a defect on the disc but it refuses to install.
