my new xbox one will not do it's day 1 initial update

this is getting beyond a joke, my brand new xbox one will not do it's DAY 1 INITIAL UPDATE !! I have been trying for a week now and nothing, I have even tried the OUS2 and OUS1 offline update but that does not work either, I have written numerous reports
but have heard nothing, I have tried talking to support on the phone but only get the run around, get hung up on or get someone who does not understand english properly, I have even tried to talk to support through the microsoft xbox page link but can not
send my question\comments as it will not allow me to write my name in the box provided so I can then send the question\comments, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP PUT THIS PROBLEM TO REST !! I have a new xbox console that I can't even use to play offline because it
won't do the day 1 initial update, if I can't get this console going then I will have no choice but to change to the PLAYSTATION 4 console as they do not have any of these problems, mirosoft need to pull your finger out a help the people that have supported
your company by buying your products, sticking your head in the sand and hoping the problem will go away will cost you the loss of a lot of xbox fans as they realise microsoft don't care about their customers, they only care for the profit margins, very very
upset, disappointed and angry

problems with set up update

I don't think the other people who replied understand what you are asking because I'm having the same problem. My brand new Xbox One S is going to sleep/turning off DURING the straight out the box initial set up update. Not AFTER it's fully downloaded the
update and it auto restarts. And when I turn the Xbox one back on, the initial set up update starts over. You can't get to the settings yet to set it to download even when the console is off/sleep because it can't get past the initial set up update. Nobody
has time to sit in front of the TV for hours, wiggling the controller sticks every 5 mins to keep the controller/Console from going to sleep partially through the Initial setup update and having to start over. It's been 3 days and I haven't been able to play
one single game yet on my new Xbox One S. Is there any way to prevent this?

 

Halo Reach terrible framerate issue

I've just read the news, from 1 day ago, that there is a new 732 MB update for Halo Reach. So, I tried loading the game once more to see if the update improves the framerate, but it didn't prompt me for an update. I tried 1 match and it's still very jerky,
very unplayable. I think I didn't get the update yet. How do I get the update?
