My new Microsoft account didn't come with a free trial

If you just bought a console, there should be a code for a 14 day free trial. Otherwise, you'd have to keep an eye on the dashboard for any promotions. There is no longer a free trial for creating an account.

They stopped providing free trials for creating accounts a while ago. If you just bought a new console, it should come with a code for a free trial.

Each new console comes with 3 free 30 day trials of Gold memberships. However these free trials are only available to brand new accounts set up on the console. They cannot be stacked or added to existing accounts.

New consoles come with 3 free one month trials, not 3 free months. They're only available to new gamertags made on the console, so you won't be able to use the trial on an existing account.

As dave said, there is no code. All new consoles come with a free month trial for up to 3 gamertags. To get the free month you have to create a brand new account on the console and it gives you the free trial during the creation process. You do have to add
a payment method in order to get the free trial.
