    My new internet at home is 2.2 GB and my XBOX X will not allow me into online gaming


    Hi. Yesterday my internet was boosted from 1GB to 2.2GB. and now my Xbox will not allow me to play online. The message on screen says waiting for relay. I would add that ten minutes before city fiber turned up to install a 2.5 ONT box my game stopped as if frozen except my player could move about the map as if the rest of the world was frozen.

    I have been looking online to see if there is any others with the same problem, I see people talking about the XBOX X internet speeds. Some are saying that it takes operates up to around 800 - 900mbs. If this is fact can you tell me if there is a way of reducing the speed going to my Xbox X to allow gaming to continue please?

    I own the game on the Xbox series x but it won't allow me to connect the game to my profile which is on the Xbox series x and so it does not let me play online, If that makes sense.

    Just to answer my own question and provide the results, I was not using the TV HDMI input that supported HDCP 2.2. Since HDCP 2.2 is used for 4K copy protection you must be connected via HDMI to an input that supports HDCP 2.2 when watching protected 4K content. Once
    I changed my TV input from the 4:4:4 supported input to the HDCP 2.2 input the Ultra HD Blu Rays played. It's too bad my TV has 4:4:4 and HDCP 2.2 on separate inputs. Also, I will need to upgrade my AVR to one that supports HDCP 2.2. Once I add my AVR back
    into the middle between the TV and Xbox One X, the discs will not play again since my current AVR does not support HDCP 2.2.

    Thanks for the help....But I set my xbox as my home xbox while I was online last and then went into networks settings and clicked go offline and every game I have downloaded will not play and it will tell me to either connect to the internet or make my xbox
    my home to play offline. So it isn't making much sense to me. But I will just try using my phone internet or wait till my internet is finally hooked up.

    No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox
