Yes I meant the version sold on DVD.

Looks like I found the solution for this issue.

I uninstalled and reinstalled MSFS from within Xbox. The whole process took only about 15 minutes. That is absolutely super!

Only a mere 1.9 GB was downloaded. Also the community folder remained untouched.

But all the *.FLT and camera.cfg files the lost.

I also had to reinstall FSUIPC. After that the simulator started okay.

All FSUIPC settings were okay.

But after rebooting the PC the simulator did not start again.

Repeating ...

- uninstalling and reinstalling MSFS okay,

- installing FSUIPC MSFS okay,

- rebooting the PC MSFS no start

I will ask for support at FSUIPC.

But is there any way to restore those *.FLT and camera.cfg files?

Copying the files from a backup folder to their respective folder in "C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\RoamingState" is not possible.

@MARCO, you need to stop gaming, if you don't stop you will reach the point of no return and the pain will not go away, my left arm is ruined because i played games for far too long, my right arm is ruined for another reason, i hammered in 1200-1600 nails a
day for living, my neck is ruined because i drove a FLT in reverse for several hours a day for several years for a living, so is my left ankle, same FLT, heavy braking, infact i am a mess, do anything to excess and your body will pay the price at some point,
several other parts of me are ruined to, mainly in the groin area, heavy lifting, lol...
