My new dashboard update frozen at the green xbox one screen

when i was updating my xbox one to the preview program new dash board it froze at the green xbox one screen and i already tried the offline update and after i heard the two power up beeps i let go but then it did a power down beep every time

x box one freezing at green start up screen

after resetting the system multiple times to try to install the update my xbox has frozen at the green start up screen and wont get any further

Hi UrgeToSplurge44,

Have you tried accessing the preview forums
forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

They really are the best place to get help and info with the preview program.

You need to use the "Restore Factory Defaults" tool as the other 2 OSUDT will not work with the preview updates, and a NTFS formatted USB drive.

ya i tried accessing through that link before but it says group not found. and i used OSUDT1. that is what i was told to use for being stuck at the green screen

Hi, yes the OSUDT won't help as you have the new dash, use the restore factory default tool, it's a little further down the page, it will work.

will all my data be removed from my xbox and how will i get back into the preview program. and how do i make sure all my save data on my xbox will be safe.

Same problem.. Stuck at the green loading screen.

Read on another post that someone just kept doing hard resets and they got it to boot. I tried, and it booted to the new dashboard after about 6 or 7 tries. Hope it doesn't happen again. Good luck, guys!
