Discus and support My NAT Type Is Behind A Port-Restricted Nat in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My Nat Type Is Stuck On Moderate And Cannot Change It.     My Nat Type Is Stuck On Moderate And Cannot Change It.

    I Have Tried Everything And It Still Stays On Moderate.

    It's Impossible To Change It To Open.

    Detailed NAT Information: Your network is behind a port-restricted NAT.

    I've created a static IP for my xbox and have tried to open ports through my router with nothing working. I've even opened up DMZ and still have a port-restricted NAT type. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to get an open NAT type?

    Your network is behind port restricted NAT

    They have slower internet and you are wondering why your connection is slower?

    Depends on the router on how to disable NAT or make NAT less intense. We will need your service provider (at the place that has restrictive NAT) and the router they have.

    Those will help us reconfigure a router / modem with different nat settings.

    NAT type almost always Moderate. Making it difficult to play GTA V with friends. BT Home Hub 5. Xbox One.

    Forgot to mention, on detailed NAT information it says:

    Your network is behind a port-restricted NAT.

    Strict & Moderate NAT Help

    Edit: My Detailed NAT info either says "Your network is behind a UPnP port-restricted NAT" or "Your network is behind a port-preserving port-symmetric NAT". Depending if my Firewall on my Modem is Enabled/Disabled. If it's disabled it usually says 2nd part.
    Enabled usually says 1st part. This also makes my NAT go from Strict to Moderate like i said above.

    Sudden New Issue: Open Nat, but "your network is behind an address-restricted NAT"

    Bump, it has now shifted to "port-restricted NAT" and Moderate NAT type.
