    My name in email changed to my Xbox1 profile name, help


    After creating a new profile in xbox1, where I just used my existing outlook acct. Now my name that appears in other people's inboxes when I send an email is my user name for xbox!! What the ****, why would it change, I mean for crying out loud that is still
    my email to people, how to do I change it back so I don't look like an idiot when I email people? That is just the dumbest thing that would change, I am so sick of having to create a new acct for every little thing I want to do, I just want to play the freaking
    video game, should never even need to be tied to my email. Anyways I tried just updating my name in outlook but it hasn't worked. Any bright ideas??

    Yeah but it was already on there with my former gamertag name and I made a new name, and it hasn't changed to suit that new name.

    hi i have a problem with when i play BC games from last gen Xbox the achiements r unlocked but they r given to my old gamer-name i changed my gamer-tag for my xbox1 but how do i change the BC name hope this makes sense thanks

    So i was making my son his own account and ran into this proble/code. New user name new email the whole kitten kabootle! On the 360 it went straight to error code. Went to the xbox1 and tried it. At the point on the 360 where you get the code, on the xbox1
    will ask for a 4 digit code that was sent to the new email account. Checked the new email and there was the 4 digit code. Entered the code in the xbox1 and finished his profile. I then went back to the xbox 360 and was able to sign him in and get xbox live.

    Hope this helps all yall and *** you Microsoft for forcing ppl to go to xbox1 not everyone can afford it!

    i changed my real name on my microsoft profile but its not showing up on the xbox app even days after changing it

    I don't have an xbox console either and my sender name has been changed for my email and profile account. I'm in a family share with 0365 which my brother owns. I've changed it back on my account but it's still showing an abbreviated version of my sender name on emails.
