My name display doesn't go away, it says "Hi Mike" and it doesn't go away

I was having this issue as well, rebooting, clearing cache, nothing worked. I opened the edge app after reading your comment and moved the cursor to the bottom right of the screen, completely out of view, and then opened forza. The cursor is gone. This should be a temp fix with a more direct fix coming soon, but I am glad that this work around effectively solves the problem.

I tried everything and the cursor is still there after the title page loads. Hope they come out with a fix asap.

To all, none of the methods seem to work on the cloud version, the cursor would not move during the game even when using a keyboard/trackpad and going from Edge to Forza cloud also did not allow for any movement. The cursor auto assigns to the upper left hand corner. So what I did was the following after finally obtaining an expansion card:

I downloaded Forza, connected my Logitech keyboard with track pad. The cursor appeared in the center but this time I was able to move the cursor to the bottom left while running Forza (not Edge). The cursor was still visible so I went to Forza's settings and cycled through them using right bumper. I hit the B button to cancel out changes, Forza asked if I wanted to save or REVERT settings changes. I chose revert and the cursor disappeared. I did not have to load MS Edge. I hope this helps!

I just had the same issue. Try, power cycling the console. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds till the console powers off then wait an additional 10 seconds and power it back on.

Afterwards, open the edge app and move the cursor to the bottom right of the screen then press the Microsoft button and open Forza.

That should get it going with no more cursor issues.

1. Clear the cache on your console

• By pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds. This will power off the console completely. Wait for a few seconds and then turn on the console again.
  

2. Uninstall and reinstall the Forza Motorsport game.

• To do this, go to "My games & apps" on your Xbox dashboard, select Forza Motorsport, press the "Menu" button on your controller, and then select "Uninstall". Once the game is uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store and reinstall the game.
  

3. Check for any available updates for the game.

• To do this, go to "My games & apps" on your Xbox dashboard, select Forza Motorsport, press the "Menu" button on your controller, and then select "Manage game & add-ons". From there, select "Updates" and check if there are any available updates for the game. If there are, install them.
  

4. Remove and Readd your Xbox Profile on your Xbox Console:

• This is to like refresh the Xbox Console of yours that you have to get a fresh start again after troubleshooting on removing and readding your Xbox Profiles.
