• If you haven't already, would you mind giving this a try?

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.

- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.

- Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.

- Plug everything back together and check if the issues persist.

• If this doesn't work, I'd appreciate it if you could answer the following questions to help me better understand your problem:

- Is the screen still frozen even after following the instructions above?

- Is this happening on multiple games or just a specific one? If it only happens in one game, could you tell me its name?

- Are there any external storage devices connected to your console?

- Do you receive any error codes/messages before or after this happens?

Me too , i cant interact with my menu , and i can not open my account , and all my screen put in black, only when i press the middle bottom i can interact with only 1 menu but only its turn off my control or my xbox , thats make me angry

I get a completely black screen sometimes on my Xbox One, sometimes while in the Store or browsing my community feed, or even in the middle of a game. Just curious, does anything happen if you press the Home button? I will have a black screen with nothing
at all on it, but in my case, if I press the Home button on my controller, the left side-bar menu will still pop up and I can see that. From there, I'll press Home and it's like the whole Xbox will refresh and the dashboard will load back up again. It's strange
but it does happen to me and I can do that and it will bring the dashboard back. The only bad thing is that if I'm in the middle of a game, I'll lose that and have to start the game over as if I've just quit out of it. Not sure if it's the same issue you're
having, but just thought I would check if anything happens if you press the Home button on your controller when this happens?

I pressed control+alt+delete and my screen just went black. Nothing happened at all. Before doing that I just let it sit on the games screen because I thought that it was just trying to load it. (but I was wrong) So I then pressed control+alt+delete and
screen went black and my mouse was in the middle of the screen but I couldnt do anything. So I just forced the computer to shut down. It was working just fine before I decided to update to 8.1

Yep I have same issue, along with 2 Broken controllers, I'm starting to lose my patience with these guys, be in the middle of a match and xbox reboots to home screen, giving you a loss plus losing anything you gained from the match. Chat pad works only
half the time, just getting real old. I also see they deleted my post about there Chinese made controller's! Guess the truth hurts.... Dirtbags
