My Movies and Videos won't play on my phone

Hello my name is josh and I recently purchased 2 of my favorite movies on the Nokia Lumia 635 and they fail to play on my phone. Please help me figure a way to play these movies on my phone.and I got it from the XBox Video Application

Problems streaming videos from PC (WMP) to XB1, same videos play on 360 fine

Why does XB1 have a much harder time playing videos/movies from my PC than my XB360?

I have a collection of movies and videos that I stream to the XB media player from my PC (Windows Media Player streaming). XB1 has problems with many videos/movies that work perfectly fine on the XB360. I notice the larger the file size, the worse the XB1
handles them. Some videos stutter so badly they are completely unwatchable. Again, the exact same videos play just fine on the 360..

*For reference: Both XB1/XB360 are on the exact same wired network as my PC and both test very fast with the network tester so my network/connectivity/bandwidth is not the problem.

 

Rented movie won't play

Rented a movie on movies & tv that won't play. Tried all support options still no success. All owned movies play fine. And my time is counting down. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about the Xbox Video issue! Are you trying to stream movies or did you download them onto your phone? Could you log into your Microsoft Account that is on your phone at commerce.microsoft.com and
verify that the purchases went through?

I purchased a rented movie from the Xbox store on the video app on my Microsoft Surface. I downloaded it and verified it was downloaded. Went to play it on the plane but it says file type not proper. I downloaded from the app? What can I do?

Sorry to hear about the Xbox Video issue. Since the issue you're experiencing is slightly different than the OP's, please post a new thread with any details you have along with any troubleshooting you have tried. That way the community can provide support
tailored specifically for you. Before you post a new thread, I would delete the video from your Surface and redownload it to see if it didn't load properly before.

 

Video not supporting on online

 

Just a note to Shockwave2211, if you rented the video on your Surface, you can only watch it on the Surface. You cannot rent on one device and continue on a different one. Perhaps they will enhance this in the future, but currently that is the way it works.
