When my mom turned the internet off to like restart it to get it to work I was playing Xbox and so when I got back on it made me go through the getting started thing as if I got a new Xbox. I have no clue why so may someone tell me why? Thank you!!!!!!!

My Xbox 360 S makes a loud buzzing noise when game is in.

Alright so my console started to make a loud buzzing noise when i was playing Halo 3 today, so I told my party i was turning my console off because i thought it might have been over heating. 10 Minutes later I turned my console back on and it made the sound
again, So I took the disc out and it stopped making the noise and on the back it had these perfectly straight scratch marks on the back, I started getting worried I put the disc back in and it made the sound again. My friend told me to put my console vertical,
so i did. I put Halo 3 in again and the noise started again. The noise doesn't happen when i play a full game off marketplace. My console is a Slim edition and I received it as a gift last year. The disc was pre-owned but I am positive the scratches weren't
there before today. What should I do?

Fifa 14, COD Ghosts don't work. Crash, Freeze and Install Problems, Including Updates.

Im having a similar problem with COD. It keeps signing me out of Xbox Live especially when it was trying to install but I tricked it into finishing last night. I turned off my console. Started it back up, made sure I had an internet connection then turned
it back off again. I started my Xbox a good few hours later and it had managed to keep the connection and finish the update. However, the game is still unplayable. For me the wireframe models glitch all over the place mainly from my gun and hands. I have contacted
Activision about it but they haven't replied. Microsoft support wasn't very helpful either considering the game has already been replaced and still the same trouble so I'm getting a replacement from where I bought it. Fingers crossed it fixes the problem.

I have this same problem. I started the game while my Internet was off. And yes turning back on my Internet brings back my saves but then how can I connect to Xbox live after I back out of that when it tells me it can't connect? Because I have to disable
my NIC, restart the game, load into my save, and then turn my NIC back on. So how do I force a sync after that? I can't find a menu or anything in the game to try to get it to sign me in again.

If I go back to the home screen it notifies me that the downloads have stopped. If I turn the Xbox off completely, when I turn it back on it resumes the download but shortly stops after. And no progress is made. I also have really slow Internet but that
has not been a problem for me in the past when downloading add-ons.

same thing happened to me today and it has done it twice now when i turn it off, I turn it back on and it starts fresh all over again

This is possible. I've seen the same thing for "Trials Evolution" I was at my moms and when she turned on her box I saw "Buy Trials now and get 240MS" but nothing about $5 off. Could be possible or could possibly be trolling?
