My Minecraft Windows 10 Beta Key has been redeemed by someone other than myself...

Hi there! If the game key was redeemed on your account it should be there. Did you redeem it via console? If so do you have other accounts on that console? Check those other accounts to see if the beta is listed there under "ready to install". Also, try
the key again to see if it says something to the effect of "already used".

Xbox generally does not send more than one key out to someone, and given this would have been given from a friend and not sent from Xbox directly makes it more difficult.

As someone who has Minecraft for both Xbox One and Windows (both Win 10 version and the Java version) I can answer this.

Poli5hesBubble: When the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) of the Minecraft entered public Beta in 2015/2016, owners of the pre-existing Java version were given a key to download and own the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version) for free, as
they already owned it for PC (in Java form). However, this does NOT work in reverse; if you bought the Windows 10 Edition (Windows Store Version), you will NOT be given a free copy of the Java version.

KyleCBlanchard: Similar to the answer for Poli5hedBubble, if you own the Java version from Minecraft.net, you should be able to go to your Mojang account, log in and see a key that, once entered into the Windows Store or at redeem.microsoft.com, will allow
you download the free copy of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for free.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

You can verify that the code was redeemed on your account in two ways.

The first way requires you to review your
Order History. You would confirm that you are currently viewing all of your purchases by going over to the left side, under Refine and select
All available. You will be able to see any codes that you have redeemed before on your account as well.

The alternate way, would be by going over to
My games and on the left hand side, under Refine results, select
PC and see if your game is there. If you do find it, you can view it in the store and select the option to
Install from here.

Give this a try and let us know if you are able to find your game in any of these areas!
