My Minecraft skin is 64x64 and a PNG file and it's still not uploading

I double checked using a online photo editor that my skin was 64x64 and a PNG file, and it still won't go through as a Minecraft skin. It keeps giving me the error message "please import a .PNG file of dimensions 64x64, 64x32, or 128x128." I've used external websites to try and fix the issue and reinstalled the app. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix this? I'm on bedrock Android btw

    :)

    Hello Ally,

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I will be responding to you in short period of time and I apologize for a delay in response. As I am merely a user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful.

How about trying to upload other skins to check if they will work? What’s the default app that your device is using when importing the skin? If it’s Google Photos, try using Gallery.

If the issue will persist, you may need to reach out to Minecraft support. https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new...

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns about this.

    Regards,
    Belle

How do i get it when i try to change skins it says Sorry! Something unexpected went wrong? (On minecraft)

Hello, 晉熙 梁 my name is oskayra I am an independent advisor and player like you I hope I can help solve your problem today

It's frustrating to encounter an "Unexpected error" message when trying to change your Minecraft skin. This can be particularly annoying when you're excited about trying out a new look. Let's see what we can do to get this fixed.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check your skin file:

Ensure you're uploading a valid skin file in the correct format. Minecraft skins should be in PNG format and have a size of 64x64 pixels.
Check for any errors or inconsistencies in the skin file itself.
Try using a different skin editor or website to create your skin file.
    2. Clear your browser cache and cookies:

Sometimes, outdated or corrupted data in your browser cache can interfere with the skin upload process.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try uploading the skin file again.
Instructions for clearing cache and cookies vary depending on your browser. Search online for specific instructions for your browser.
    3. Log out and log back in:

Sign out of your Minecraft account and then log back in.
This can help refresh your session and potentially resolve any temporary glitches.

I hope the information I gave you has been useful, have a happy day.

    Minecraft Skins

    Hey IronTango

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    In regards to
using a custom skin in Minecraft Windows 10
, you don't need anything like USBs, every Minecraft skin website that lets you create or choose a skin should have the option to
Download or Save your skin. When prompted to save the file, select
    Save.

By default, the file is saved to your Downloads folder. Make sure that the file name has a
    .png extension.

To upload your skin to Minecraft and start using it:

    1. Launch Minecraft and select Skins from the main menu.
    2. Select Browse skin.
    3. Navigate to the Downloads folder or to the folder where you saved the .png file and select the new skin.

The next time you load your game or create a new one, your character will be wearing the new skin that you created.

I hope this was of some help to you.

How do I import custom skins?

Hello, xxIc3man336xx. I'm Arturo, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Do you want to importa a skin to the Xbox or PC version of Minecraft?

If you play on PC, this can be done by following these steps:

“Launch Minecraft on your Windows device.

Select Dressing Room under your current character.
Select the menu button at the top-left of the screen for more options, and then select Classic Skins.
Select the blank skin model under Owned Skins, and then select Choose New Skin.

Upload your custom skin .png file, and then make sure that it appears as expected on the character model.

Note: Custom skins do not sync between devices. If you want to use a skin across multiple devices where you play Minecraft, make sure to save your file where you can access it easily.

The next time that you load your game or create a new one, your character will be wearing the new skin that you created.”

Please be aware, custom skin can't be uploaded on the Xbox Bedrock edition of Minecraft.

I hope you find this answer helpful to your inquiry. However, I'll remain attentive to any other one you may have.

    Regards,

    Arturo.
