    My Minecraft progress is gone and corrupted after reinstalling.


    How do I answer to this for Minecraft after reinstalling the game and seeing that my game saves are impossible to sync? There is a virus in the game. Why? This screenshot is the proof that my game has a virus.

    If I then buy the game digitally will I keep progress. For example will all minecraft worlds be gone or will they still be there after I buy the digital game?

    It's a complete system reinstall, it will erase all the contents of the internal storage.

    If there is any corrupted file, it will be gone.

    What's worse is that it now appears as if my Children's progress in Minecraft has been affected by one of the steps above and it's now telling me their saved progress is corrupted and 5 years of progress is now inaccessible.

    I've got some very unhappy children here now.

    Delete the game and reinstall. Once files are corrupt nothing you can really do about it. If its a game reinstall game. If its a save file then its gone forever.
