    My Minecraft Java won’t open and says “not responding” every time I try.


    I used to play Java edition on my pc on my dad’s Microsoft account, but now I use my own. I didn’t own Java but I owned bedrock edition so when the update came out to where you could get the other version for free if you owned one of them I was excited. I redownloaded Java and tried to play but it immediately crashed, I’ve tried everything I know to try to get it to work but it just doesn’t. Every time I click play in the launcher it opens the application and it’s immediately a white screen that says “Openjdk Platform Binary Not Responding.” I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times and even the launcher a few times but nothing I’ve tried has worked. Bedrock edition still works perfectly fine, it’s just Java.
