My Minecraft Is Stuck On Waiting On Install

Based on your description, I understand that you are having problems installing Minecraft and the process is always in the pending installation queue, please point out if I am misunderstanding you.



Here are some of my suggestions



Check Microsoft Store or Launcher Status

• For Microsoft Store Users: If you installed Minecraft through the Microsoft Store, make sure there are no issues with the store.
  
• For Launcher Users: If you installed using the Minecraft Launcher, try restarting the installation process from the launcher and ensure it is updated to the latest version.
  
• Open the Microsoft Store and check for any pending updates.
  
• Clear the Microsoft Store cache:
  
  • Press Win + R, type wsreset, and hit Enter to clear the cache.
    
  • After clearing, try to reinstall Minecraft.
    

Check Network Connection

• Ensure that your network connection is stable, you can try:
  
  • Disconnecting and reconnecting your Wi-Fi or Internet.
    
  • Using another network (e.g., connecting your computer to a mobile hotspot), then try downloading and installing again.
    
• If using a VPN, try disabling it and see if that helps.
  

Ensure Sufficient Storage Space

• Confirm that your hard drive or SSD has enough free space to install Minecraft (at least 10GB of available space).
  
• If space is low, delete some unnecessary files to free up space, then retry the installation.
  

Update System and Related Applications

• Check if Windows has any pending updates:
  
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and install all available updates.
    
• Ensure that the Microsoft Store and any related Xbox apps (if applicable) are up to date, as these might impact the installation process.
  

Restart Installation Process

• Cancel the current pending installation and clear the installation cache for Minecraft:
  
  • For Microsoft Store: Open the Microsoft Store, go to “My Library,” find Minecraft and cancel the installation task. Then restart the installation.
    
  • For Launcher: Uninstall the Minecraft launcher (or directly delete any current tasks in the launcher), then reinstall the Minecraft launcher and try again.
    

Re-login to Microsoft or Xbox Account

• If your Microsoft Store or Xbox app has login issues:
  
  • Log out of your current Microsoft account and log back in.
    
  • Open the Xbox app (if you have it) and ensure your account logs in correctly.
    
  • Make sure you are logged into the correct account that purchased Minecraft.
    

Check System Services

• Ensure relevant services are running (such as the “Windows Update Service,” which is crucial for some installation processes). If unsure, try the following steps:
  
  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
     
  2. In the services list, find “Windows Update” and ensure it is started (right-click, select “Start”).
     

Re-download from Minecraft Official Site

• If there are ongoing issues through the Microsoft Store, visit the Minecraft official website (https://www.minecraft.net) and try downloading the launcher directly, then install the game from there.

What's your Windows OS version? Please make sure that your Windows OS is up-to-date. If possible, try to install your optional updates as well. Check also the available updates on your Microsoft Store.

Alternatively, please cancel your installation and restart PC. Try to install the game directly from Xbox app or Microsoft Store.

It worked . But i got another problem. I tried to download minecraft bedrock edition . But it stuck on “Waiting for install” i waited 3 hours but it didn’t install

Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.
