My Minecraft has duplicated

I'm having the same problem currently, it is causing my Xbox to slow and is making Battlefield 1 unable to start. I was able to uninstall one of the Minecrafts but the other one is still there and nonoperational. How did you fix this, if at all, thank you for your time.

I don't have any external things in my Xbox and I don't have any other versions of Minecraft on anything except the console (besides Java Edition for pc) unless you count Minecraft Dungeons.

I'm not sure if it's a console problem on an account problem.

Hopefully I don't have to reset my console to fix it tho...

Hi Charlie, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, you can simply uninstall the game on your Internal Storage or External hard drive depending on what storage you prefer.

If none, kindly try to uninstall one of the games. If that is not working, perform a powercycle before trying again.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Same thing here! I try to start up Minecraft but it says it needs an update but when I press it, it just duplicates and tries to download a whole other Minecraft

My problem here is that in my opinion, you are only "cheating" if you are "breaking a rule," and Minecraft is meant to be a rule-free sandbox game. So, unless you are playing on a certain server that has a set rule stating that you are not allowed to duplicate,
than duping is not "cheating."
