    My account is adult and everything is allowed yet it is saying that my Microsoft account has not been set up properly and is saying that I need to change it in https://account.xbox.com/settings yet I have tried that

    I understand you need assistance with your game Minecraft. Would you mind double-checking your Privacy Settings and making sure that all settings under the Privacy tab and Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety are set to "Allow" or "Everyone"? It should be like the screenshot below. Also, if you're playing on Xbox console, please make sure that you have an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate.

    These steps can help you, give it a try.
    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.
    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app
    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.
    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
    4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.
    5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and try again.

    Not only that, but I find it appropriate to ask some questions:

    — Does your PC run Windows 10 or Windows 11?

    — When you click on the “enter through Microsoft” button, could I know if a pop-up screen appears, or the launcher just freezes?

    — Do you have a similar issue with any other Microsoft Store app or game, or is it just the Minecraft launcher?

    — Could you describe every potential solution you have found and tried before creating this post?
    That way, I can suggest different things.
