    My Microsoft log in changed?? + Minecraft Multiplayer Problems


    I used to have my Xbox account linked to my Microsoft account, but now when I try to log into apps with my Microsoft Account, it logs me in to a different account. I decided to try to make a new account on the Xbox with my "new" Microsoft account to see what would happen, it logged into the new account. I still have the original account logged in and I can still access it, but I just can't log into anything under that account anymore. It's like it unlinked and I can't figure out how to relink it. The only thing I've been able to see on how to fix it is to sign in to the Microsoft App and reset the email but I obviously can't do that. Also, I'm having issues with Minecraft. When I go on through my original account, it tells me that I "can't access multiplayer worlds because multiplayer is disabled." It may be caused by my account issues that I'm having but I wasn't too sure

    thank you for your answer. I disagree. The problem is with a Microsoft account within minecraft. The issue is definitely with Microsoft.

    In Minecraft on switch there is a button to logout from Minecraft. When you login again, the authentication of the first Microsoft account which was logged into is prompted. There is no possibility to change the Microsoft account.

    There is an additional button "Delete Microsoft account login data". If this is pressed you are asked, if you are sure. If you press yes, nothing happens. Nothing has changed with login either.

    Can you help us, please?

    Issue is, I connected the Switch Minecraft version with my adult Microsoft account. Now my son is old enough and I want, that he logs into the switch with his own account. But I cannot change the Microsoft login account of switch minecraft. :-(

    I have tried with both Firefox and Edge. Same result.

    I changed my status in the family from Organizer to Member, and this allowed me to change my settings using the Xbox Family app logged in as the other organizer, but Minecraft is still saying my settings don't allow multiplayer.

    I play Minecraft on my PlayStation 4 so that's the console I'm having issues on. I'm not really sure what you mean by third party account as Microsoft only lets you link things to Microsoft approved/partnered things, but it was my Xbox/Microsoft account, I changed the Xbox account's randomly generated username to a new one and that's when I first started getting problems logging into my Microsoft account on the PlayStation but it still let me log back in eventually, then I changed my Xbox username to match my PSN username and now it doesn't let me log in at all.

    I'm logging in with my microsoft account, through the microsoft account log in.

    I've already migrated my account and it worked, because I played after it migrated. I've been having this issue after I changed to the new minecraft launcher they've released through the microsoft store, and I can't log in to Xbox Live through the Xbox app either.
