My Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzles app.

I have played this game for years & had no problems. However, the game quit downloading Daily Challenges since the first of July. Today one game was available, but the other 2 are still listed as "Downloading" as are all the challenges for July 1st. I've closed & started over, put tog a Classic puzzle, tried to figure out how to delete & reinstall...all I can think to try, but still get no changes. All the other Microsoft games I have downloaded & play are fine, so I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. Please help & advise me. Thanks.

Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Click Microsoft Jigsaw > Advance options > Reset

Worked fine for me. YAY! another month of jigsaw puzzles to solve.

Complete given below directions to reset the app in Windows

Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc

I have the same problem with mahjong and solitaire but not the jigsaw puzzle app.

Ok, since we've gotten no response from this forum, I went looking for a solution to the downloading puzzle problems. It's probably in your privacy settings.

I found this solution in another support forum.

1. Close Microsoft Jigsaw. 2. Go to settings. 3. Click on Privacy. 4. Click on Background Apps. 5. Turn on " Let apps run in the background, if it's off. 6. Scroll down to Microsoft Jigsaw and set it to "On"

Now open Microsoft Jigsaw again and try to down load your puzzles again. If it doesn't work, restart your PC. Mine started working right after the restart. Good Luck.
