My Microsoft account won’t link with Minecraft PS4 edition

I keep having a problem linking my microsoft account to my ps4 minecraft. I have done the update and visited the website to link the account. But, every time I try to sign in, it brings a pop-up screen saying, “Failed to Login.” This is making it to where
I can’t play cross-platform with my friends. If I could get some help that would be greatly appreciated.

Download XBOX app on your phone and create a gamer tag with your linked MicroSoft account.

I am having the same exact problem. The thing is it won’t even let me like re sign in or anything. Did you ever get this figured out?

Im having an issue where it basically erased everything i bought and wont let me sign back in, keeps saying youre already active on another ps4, like NO ITS THIS ONE THIS EXACT ONE AND PROFILE and customer service is gross.

Exactly! I tried a bunch of videos and alot of them are lies. This happened to me right after i tried what a video did. And i already know microsoft aint going to help me

The official Mojang Status Twitter page posted, "Minecraft Bedrock: If
you were affected by the previous login & content loss issues earlier, please restart your game fully as the fix requires a game restart. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues. Thanks for your patience & understanding. - HZ"

Anyone having login issues needs to make sure that they have an Xbox Live Gamertag (Xbox Live profile) made with their Microsoft Account by logging into
https://www.xbox.com/ or any of the Xbox apps on Windows 10 PCs or mobile devices. Once you have a Gamertag made, restart Minecraft and try logging in again with your Microsoft Account that
now has an Xbox Live Gamertag associated with the account.
