My microsoft account will not recognize that I have Minecraft Java even though im signed in

Hi, please help.

I've had this problem for about a year now. I've always just had to find ways around it but im so sick of being inconvenienced.

Ok so :

I bought Minecraft through the official website

I sign in with a Microsoft account and it says for sure i am signed in; it even takes me to my account when i click on it

BUT every time i go to my Microsoft account it says I don't even own the game and directs me to buy it on the microsoft store. I have no achievements or anything that even shows i own the game. However, when i go into the consol companion it shows up in games "minecraft launcher" ?

this whole thing is honeslty the worst. I wanted to save a couple bucks by going directly to the website and it ends up being terrible. The game runs fine i even run mods and such.

Also i have pocket addition which does show up on my account. For this one i went through the app store. But whenever i try to get invites it always goes through to my laptop and not my phone if my phone is on and i always have trouble with it.

Ive logged in and out of everything more than twice . The only thing i havent done is delete the game but i dont really want to lose my mods and forge set up as it was really hard for me to get going.

Regarding your issue, please try to make sure that you bought the game on the same account you sign in with on the App. Try to go the Microsoft official website> Sign in with the account you use for gaming> go to Payment & billings > Select orders history and confirm that you own the game on your account.

I have tried this already and it does not work.

The problem is that when Iog into microsoft and look at my owned games, it appears that my microsoft account does not own minecraft java edition and only owns the bedrock edition, even though i've been playing Java edition on it daily up till now.

so i got a new java account for minecraft a while ago and tried to play this morning before i had to go. it said it was offline although im on a pc so i gave up and now i open the launch and it says i have to buy both java and bedrock even though i had both of them just this morning even though they weren't working.

When I sign in to Microsoft to edit my mojang account, it gives me no options for minecraft java. I sign into my microsoft account in the mojang launcher and I'm met with "invalid account" responses.

It is all the same email. I can sign in to the Microsoft account without issue. The issue is that it doesn't shoe a purchase of java minecraft. I can play minecraft for windows with that account without issue. Just not the Java version. There is no error message, but I only have access to the demo. The account is secured with my phone number.

Perhaps we can explore why I have windows minecraft but not Java minecraft. Articles indicate that I should have access to both.
