My microsoft account was hacked and i cant get back in.

My microsoft account got hacked so i created a new one with the email address but i cant sign in to the old one because they changed the email and the password. They also enabled 2FA so account recovery wont work. This all happened because by google account got hacked and they changed all my details! Please someone help.

I have tried help.microsoft.com but its no working and I really would like to do it on phone because its so much easier.

They didn't change my gamer tag but they changed the following:

Email

Password

Recovery Email

2fa (2 Factor authentication)

The account is still part of our microsoft family so can the family organiser/owner request the details to be changed?

Please if you helping me do not tell me to go to microsoft.com or support.microsoft.com or help.microsoft.com I would just like to speak to someone via email or phone.

Hello again, you can try to contact Xbox Customer Service via chat and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

However, as I mentioned above, with 2FA enabled it will be difficult to retrieve it.

They only way they gained access to my account was because my google account was hacked which I know have access for. The same happened for Discord but I got that back.

Is there no way to reclaim the account, it is still under our family and we have the details for it. I am trying to get this account back because it has Minecraft on it, That has high levels in multiple servers like Hypixel and Mineblock which my son spent days getting.

Hello Matt, I'm sorry about what happened to your account, but in cases like this where they've enabled 2FA on the account, unfortunately it won't be possible to get it back.

If you want to contact Xbox support and explain your case, what they will do is block your account so that hackers cannot use it.

Is there a way i can delete an account that was hacked that i no longer have control of and cant get back because no matter how many people i call to help and recovery forms i fill i get the same results im tired and no longer want anything to do with Microsoft stuff anymore
