my microsoft account no longer owns minecraft?

i have not. i had originally thought it was a "account sync" error when i googled the issue. i had then later discovered the code was redeemed on a microsoft account i do not use any longer. i had hoped i could have the game transferred from that account
to my current account, but apparently microsoft cannot transfer games from account a to account b. i completely refuse to rebuy a game i already own on a different account.

Yes it is the same account. Infact its the same email. my Mojang account uses the same email as my Microsoft account. This only started happening when Microsoft stated they would be merging accounts with Mojang.

I did the process of merging and now I no longer own minecraft.

This is not a Nintendo Question. The Minecraft game is owned by Microsoft. Your own game tells you on the startup screen to Link your Microsoft Account in order to preserve purchases from the Marketplace. I did that. I had 4000+ Minecoins (digital currency
directly related to Minecraft) and texture packs in the marketplace inventory. When I created and linked the Microsoft account, my Minecoins and purchases are no longer there. So there has been some kind of disconnect between Minecraft and the Microsoft
account. The Marketplace for Minecraft is not called "Nintendo Marketplace".
