My microsoft account keeps changing my password

My xbox account keeps asking for my password and when i put it in it says its wrong. I reset my password to something i remember and write it down onto my notes. I try the next day again it says its wrong. So i try to reset my password AGAIN and says I have recieved a code too many times. Has my account been hacked?

I changed my Microsoft id password but its not working on my console for live. It works on the website though. Plus when it did work I went to sign my guest account in and it keeps going back to password error

An account cannot be removed remotely from a console. Change the password on your account -

Also make sure all your security information is up to date.

The new password will need to be entered before the account can be used.
