My Microsoft Account has 3 accounts?

This is something I've known about for quite some time. I'm just now deciding to ask about it. It's not a huge deal as it doesn't cause me any problems with my account at all. It's just a little thing that I noticed a while back.

Whenever I visit Sign in to your Microsoft account, I'm shown almost nothing. This happens because by default, it loads me into "CA - Personal Account" in a tab. This tab, when I select it, lists 3 things.

CA - Personal Account

US - Business Account

US - Personal Account

I have to choose "US - Personal Account" to find my actual billing page with my transaction history and payment options. Everything is there as it should be and I've never had any problems making purchases because of this. So I'm not really concerned but
more curious about how something like this even happens. I'm able to redeem Gold (obviously) and redeem Xbox Gift Cards onto my account and am able to buy whatever I want with my account.

Does anyone know why I'm showing with 3 different accounts though? As I said, it's not causing me any problems at all as I'm able to fully use my account on Xbox LIVE, Windows 8 and other Microsoft services without hassle.

Has anyone else got $6.00 free from microsoft on 360?

I was going to purchase a few games from xbox live on my 360 and I went to add a credit card and saw that for some reason that microsoft put $6.00 into my microsoft account and thought that was just from the rewards program. But I happen to check another account on my xbox 360 that i didn't even use the rewards program with and have just purchase one game with that account and it also has $6.00 in that account also is Microsoft given out $6.00 to us or what is the deal?

This is something you might want to contact Microsoft customer support directly. Seems it is not something that does deal with your Xbox account. That is of course, only if it is bothering you to a point of craziness

It's not. It's so small that I'm just curious rather than annoyed. I choose to leave it mainly because I don't want to risk creating some random problem with my account by trying to fix it.

I believe the differences exist because of discrepancies with your billing information or other information. I noticed that my account had two versions (with two different states) after updating my information after moving houses.

Don't know about your case though. So far I've had no problems with my accounts.

I contacted Mojang Support again.

They now tell me that my Mojang Account has not migrated to the Microsoft Account with the same email address, but to some other Microsoft Account.

My Family has 3 other Microsoft Accounts. So I presume it is possibly one of those.

All those Accounts have Minecraft licenses of their own. So possibly I have a Microsoft Account with a double license to Minecraft.

I asked Mojang Support to what account my Mojang Account has migrated. I have yet to receive an answer.

- Go to https://account.live.com/acsr and fill out the form to recover your account. You will need to provide an alternate email address and some information to verify your identity.

- Check your alternate email for a security code and enter it on the next page.

- Create a new password for your account and sign in with it on your Xbox console, app, and website.
