my microsoft account doesn't exist

Accounts don't just get deleted (unless you did it yourself), but the gamertags do get removed after about 5 years, I believe - but you'd be assigned a randomized gamertag if that happened to you. This would not prevent you from logging in or having it say
the account doesn't exist.

Please make sure you are using the correct email to log in as that is the #1 probable cause of this problem:

Also, it would help if your account is still on an xbox 360 you may still have, boot that up and see what email is listed as the account's email according to that link I posted above - it tells you how to find the email of a logged in account also.

I have a similar situation of an account that supposedly doesn't exist, but when signing on with an Outlook dot Com account it logs me on with my Live Account. I can't send an email to original account address, can you please direct me to the correct MS forum. I have many emails that are linked to the original address. Thank you.

Im having a separate problem where whenever i load up or close down a game itll sign me out, and to fix this i need to delete the account and clear the cache. Afterwards, i need to re download the profile, but to do that i need to know if i can, otherwise
ill have lost a profile with money put into it.
