    My Microsoft Account balance is not updating for purchases.


    Today I purchased a $15 Xbox card and redeemed it through the redeem section of the Microsoft Store on my Xbox One console. After redeeming it I attempted to purchase a game on the store but when I was brought to the purchase part of the process, my account balance had not been updated and was showing my previous account balance which was not enough for the game. When I look at my account balance it show my new balance with the $15 and in my Order History it says that a $15 card was added. I looked through similar post about this problem and attempted every possible solution given but none of them worked. I've tried to solve the issue through ways such as restarting my console, power cycling the console, signing out and restarting the console, resetting the console, and unplugging the console then waiting 4 minutes before turning it on. After each attempt, the amount when purchasing was my previous amount without the $15 but my amount in the settings was my new amount. I'd like to be able to spend my money and purchase this item while it is still on sale. What do I do?

    Purchasing games

    You can use your Microsoft account balance if you make the purchase from a 360. The One store has never been updated to work with Microsoft account balance for 360 or original Xbox game purchases.

    The site isn't updated yet, so Microsoft account balance cannot be used on the website. You'll have to purchase from the console if you want to use your Microsoft account balance.

    The Xbox One/website have never been updated to work with your Microsoft account balance to purchase 360 content. The only way to use your balance would be to make the purchase from a 360 console.

    In order to buy 360 games with your account balance, you'll have to make the purchase from a 360 console. The One/website have never been updated to work with the Microsoft account balance for 360 content.
