My microphone shows I'm talking in settings but doesn't let me talk in game or on the Xbox...

Okay lets try some troubleshoot.

The first thing I will need you to do is to uninstall the app. After that, make sure that your Windows has the latest update: Select check for updates now, and then select Check for updates. Or, select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.

You will all need to check if your Microsoft Store need to be updated: Select the Start button, and then from the apps list, select Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store, select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.

Once done, reinstall the app and check again.

PS: If your microphone is connected to your controller, try to update both, the controller and the headset.

This is all enabled and still doesn't work. I forgot to mention that a reset my PC the other day and it was fine before that

I have and yes it works fine on my phone and Xbox

When I test my mic it shows it works but doesn't aswell

The issue can be resolved by making Microphone as the default device and updating the sound card drivers.

Let's ensure that the microphone that you are using is not disabled and is set as default in the computer. Follow these steps to check this:

- Right click on the volume icon and select “Recording devices”.

- Now, right click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.

- Select “Microphone” and click on “Properties” and make sure that the microphone is enabled.

- You may also check if the microphone that you are using is set as default.
