    Pretty much the same as IFR Rob up there but the other day it worked fine. Don't remember what day exactly but just used it. Then tried to get on GTA last night for that new update and spent 2 hours tryin to figure out how to get it to work. Hard resetted
    like 4 times, reset internet twice, (nat type was open) checked all settings. Tried my standard headset. Then tried my turtle beaches. Then tried my Kinect to chat. It hears me when I say Hey Cortana but when I go into a party, my Lil circle around my lil
    dude doesn't light up. I can hear them just fine thru all the headsets and Kinect but they can't hear me. And no it's not on mute haha. But yeah would like to communicate. Makes it a Lil more fun. What da hail do I do?

    NAT is OPEN all PORTS OPEN new controller and headset. Have tried every test skype etc... even hooked up to another network and nothing still doesnt work

    Xbox is no help with this and keep giving me the runaround

    please help My mic works, but no one in my party can hear me. :(

    Have you tried updating your controller using the Xbox Accessories App?

    I'm having a similar problem with turtle beach x42, if I hear them they cant hear me but if they hear me I cant hear them. I purchased a new adapter and new 2.5mm cord but yet to fix the problem. And up untill a few weeks ago it work totally fine.

    I'm having the exact same problem.

    After this last console update, my mic won't work. I can hear through the headset in both party and game chat, but no one can hear me.

    I've tried 3 different mics, 2 different controllers, I've done all of Microsoft's troubleshooting guides, my NAT is open, and both controllers are up to date.

    Would be nice if microsoft had any clue how to fix this, instead of putting out system updates that break the features of the console.

    Same man. I'm really concerned I DO NOT want to buy a new console, and/or send the console to microsoft to be fixed and have the same issue. I really believe it has to do with the software. Wish microsoft would give an answer. If you find a fix let us know.
