    My mic won't work


    I have a Razer Kraken Pro headset. I don't think it's the headset though. I've tried many different ways to fix my mic. Examples: blew into the mic port, tried a different headset, tried a different controller, even tried a different account. None of these worked. I've also tried reseting my xbox and hard reseting my xbox, tried updating the controller, checked to see if the mic was muted, and looked at the audio settings. Is there anyone who can help me fix this, it's really annoying, it's happened for 2 days now.

    Go to your settings and make sure that the audio is more near chat than game. Theres a slide bar that you can adjust.

    Step 1: Check if your mic isn't muted:

    First make sure that your mic isn’t muted, then check in headset settings that Auto-mute is not set to High. If that doesn’t fix the problem, restart both devices, and check to see if a firmware update is available for your headset.

    Step 2 : Check your settings:

    1. Go to your privacy settings and allow communication with everyone. You can do so by tapping the Xbox button. Now, go to System > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer, and make the changes.
    2. Unmute or unblock those you are looking to chat with. Tap the Xbox button. In the guide, click on Multiplayer > Party. Tap on Party to open up the party roster, and select the people you want to unmute, and select Unmute.
    3. If your chat audio is not clear or a bit choppy, this could also be related to your Xbox One controller update. To fix this, both you and the friend will need to ensure that your controllers are up to date.
    4. You also need to make sure that you're not experiencing network latency or other network problems.

    Sorry, but I've already tried these and they didn't work. I really don't know what to do anymore. The only option I have is to try to buy a new Xbox, but I don't have the money for that.
