My mic sounds fine when someone talks but when I talk it is very low

I was playing with my friend and then I accidentally poured water on my mic And the part of the mic where I was supposed to talk to you didn’t let me talk and let me talk but it was very faint and low when I could not hear myself barely.My friend talked
about it and he sounded perfectly fine but when I started talking he could barely hear me he said it sounded like I was underwater or it was a static/Low faint noise. I tried the steps I looked online for at least one hour I turned off my mike turned it back
on blowing through my mike and still it sounded the same

I dont think theres much you can do about this if water has gotten into your microphone its possibly damaged something inside it, or there is the possibility that if you just wait a bit it might fix itself. In this case i think your best bet is to get
a new headset.

If you poured water in it then its probably gotten into the mic and has messed it up. I would recommend purchasing a new one!

I have had this same issue in the past as well, so water and electronics dont mix...

From the sounds of it, your microphone is broken.

I would suggest you have someone look at it, try leaving it for a while, and letting the water drain out or I would suggest getting a new microphone.

I've had the same headset for years, treat them well, and watch when drinking and you will be golden.
